Psalms 90;Leviticus 1-3
Psalms 90:17 “Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us, and prosper for us the work of our hands–O prosper the work of our hands!”
Psalms 90;Leviticus 1-3
Psalms 90:17 “Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us, and prosper for us the work of our hands–O prosper the work of our hands!”
Exodus 38-40
38:22 “Bezalel son of Uri son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, made all that the LORD commanded Moses.
39: 1 …they made sacred vestments, for Aaron; as the LORD had commanded Moses.
5 …as the LORD had commanded Moses.
6 …as the LORD had commanded Moses.
21 …as the LORD had commanded Moses.
26 …as the LORD had commanded Moses.
29 …as the LORD had commanded Moses.
31 …as the LORD had commanded Moses.
32 In this way all the work of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting was finished; the Israelites had done everything just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
42 The Israelites had done all of the work just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
43 When Moses saw that they had done all the work just as the LORD had commanded, he blessed them.
40:16 “Moses did everything just as the LORD commanded him.
19 …as the LORD had commanded Moses.
21 …as the LORD had commanded Moses.
23 …as the LORD had commanded Moses.
25 …as the LORD had commanded Moses.
27 …as the LORD had commanded Moses.
29 …as the LORD had commanded Moses.
32 …as the LORD had commanded Moses.
33 …So Moses finished the work.
34 …and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.”
Exodus 35-37
35:20-21 “… And they came, everyone whose heart was stirred, and everyone whose spirit was willing, and brought the LORD’s offering to be used for the tent of meeting, and for all its service, and for the sacred vestments.”
22 “So they came, both men and women; all who were of a willing heart brought brooches and earrings and signet rings and pendants, all sorts of gold objects, everyone bringing an offering of gold to the LORD.”
26: “all the women whose hearts moved them to use their skill spun the goats’ hair.”
29: “All the Israelite men and women whose hearts made them willing to bring anything for the work that the LORD had commanded by Moses to be done, brought it as a freewill offering to the LORD.”
36:2 “Moses then called Bezalel and Oholiab and every skillful one to whom the LORD had given skill, everyone whose heart was stirred to come to do the work;”
6-7 “…So the people were restrained from bringing; for what they had already brought was more than enough to do all the work.”
Exodus 32-34
33:11 “Thus the Lord used to speak to Moses face to face, as one speaks to a friend.”
Exodus 28-31
31:12-13 “The Lord said to Moses: You yourself are to speak to the Israelites:…”
18 “When God finished speaking with Moses on Mount Sinai, he gave him the two tablets of the covenant, tablets of stone, written with the finger of God.”
Exodus 24-27
25:10-16 “They shall make an ark of acacia wood; it shall be two and a half cubits long, a cubit and a half wide, and a cubit and a half high….You shall put into the ark the covenant that I shall give you.”
Exodus 21-23
23:9 “You shall not oppress a resident alien; you know the heart of an alien, for you were aliens in the land of Egypt.”
Exodus 18-20
18:22-24 “‘Let them sit as judges for the people at all time; let them bring every important case to you, but decide every minor case themselves. So it will be easier for you, and they will bear the burden with you. If you do this, and God so commands you, then you will be able to endure, and all these peo;e will go to their home in peace.’ So Moses listened to his father-in-law and did all that he had said.”
No one has to work all alone. We have God and Him in each other.
Exodus 14-17
17:11-12 “Whenever Moses held up his hand, Israel prevailed…But Moses’ hands grew weary; so they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it. Aaron and Hur held up his hands, one on one side, and the other on the other side; so his hands were steady until the sun set.”
Exodus 11-13
13:19 “And Moses took with him the bones of Joseph who had required a solemn oath of the Israelites, saying,’God will surely take notice of you, and then you must carry my bones with you from here.’”
The Israelites are, at last, delivered. Moses remembers an oath made Joseph.
Sometimes you wonder if you’re ever gonna make it home again (at least Carole and I do). It is God’s design and our goal to go (and, yes, you can again).
